He had opposed the Market House robbery. The South Ward had been very unjustly dealt with. He offered himself for re election. Alderman Mclenaghan was not open for re election. He had agreed with Aid Mcmicken in Council in almost All matters except that of finances. Or Alloway at the request of a Large num Ber of electors offered himself As a candidate for Alderman. The South Ward was heavily taxed and deserved More than it had been getting. Or Swayze if elected would Endeavor to serve the South Ward faithfully without attempting any injustice upon other parts of the City.
