The Nomi nation is fixed for Tho 25th polling for the first May. Tho legislature is to meet for Tho dispatch of business on Tho 1st of Juno. The Gazette publishes a new militia regu lation providing that Tho rank of Brevet major shall Only be granted after ten years ser vice As Captain of an efficient corps of Active militia instead of five years As heretofore.
