Kkt Vilue tenn., july miners meeting at Coal Creek to Day to Bear the committee s plan of Compromise was attended by about every Man in the Valley. Speeches were made by j. C. J. Williams urged a Compromise some length it was difficult for the miners to agree upon a conclusion. Finally the miners agreed on a course of action and Drew up resolutions containing a proposition to the governor. This proposition s that the troops must to taken Home from Knoxville the convicts can be returned to Coal Creek for sixty Days Only and the legis lature to meet and repeal the convict Law this briefly is the proposition of the minors.
