The Winni Eggers who attended the excursion of the n. W. O association to Bainy River returned to the City Friday morning accompanied by the citizens band. One of the party has furnished the free press with the subjoined account of the trip through the kindness of the Northwestern Ontario and Manitoba lumber association some eighty gentlemen connected with the lumber or interests in Manitoba and the Northwest were inviting to join them in their first annual excursion to Rainy River. All were asked to meet at Bat Portage on wednesday morning the 22nd inst., at 9.30. Sharp by time and to the Gay tunes of the the Brandon presbytery met in Brandon on monday last.
