The suit is for damages alleged have been sustained in one year by reason of tha repeal of the Railroad s special Char Ter. Under this charter the Road was permitted to charge three cents a. Mile passenger fare instead of two cents As the general Law provides and was allowed to pay a specific tax on Gross earnings in lieu of All other taxes the Railroad s taxes being about double since the repeal of the charter ;
