With yesterday s play finding the curlers right on Edge despite the fact that it was the most strenuous of the three Day s work the Winnipeg Bonspiel has progressed to such a stage that the Battles Are now More of the titanic nature. Yesterday in particular brought together Many of the crack slops the result that some High class play resulted. The drop in the tempera Ture was just enough to give the ice makers a Chance to clean up the surface and there was not a complaint of poor ice yesterday. Today will see one of the feature events of the big Curling carnival when forty four rinks from the outside will meet a like number from the City in the annual All Comers is. City match. This big feature will take place at 4 o clock the last draw of the Day and promises to create More excitement than Ever. The outside clubs have a feeling that they can push the City cracks Good and hard this year and will be out with fight in their eyes. It has been Many years since the outsiders managed to cop the Long end of the score and it might be a very Good thing for the game if they happened to put one Over the City Brethren this year. But the local curlers will not take any chances and will have some Strong forces on hand to uphold their honors.
