Brother of William Salt says latter was approached by provincial architect on matter. Evidence was Given yesterday be fore the Royal commission on the new parliament buildings to the effect that v. W. Norwood the provincial architect tried to induce the miss ing William Salt to alter his records of the work done on the caissons. Salt declined to fall i w than 5 suggestion saying he might be liable to to to jail. Edwin Salt brother of William was the Man that gave this Testi Mony. He also swore that Hon. Geo. R.
