Taylor conservative Leader asked permission to publicly thank the Premier for his interest in the com plaint he had made tuesday regard ing the flood conditions at Portage la Prairie. He asserted he thought the Premier s action was responsible for nil officialdom of the Canadian Pacific railway in Winnipeg Goinsjr to Portage to attend to the situation there Power transmission act debate on second Reading of the bul to Amend the electrical Power transmission act which provides for reducing the capitalization of the Power commission to was featured by Enco Mastic comment of opposite speakers on Hon. W. R. Clubb s action in grappling with a serious situation. Their sole objections related to Tho principles bookkeeping involved in the Transfer of certain capital charges from the commission by which the proposed reduction will to effected. Haig conservative Winnipeg took a similar stand claiming the Power commission could not make the Utility pay on the proposed valuation and at the same time make sinking and Reserve fund provisions.
