W. D. Ingram Wafi re elected presi Dent of the Winnipeg Amateur la Crosse association at their annual meeting held at the . Yester Day afternoon when a Large gather ing of die Gavisk heard the report of last year s activities. President in address was brimful of opt miss and declared that chances for a Mann cup series never looked brighter than this year. He also Laid Atress on the fact that something must be done to get a Good healthy Junior league in operation and a Strong Effort will be made in this direction. Had Mckinley the popular Secre tary tendered his resignation owing to the fact that his duties As arg o president were too arduous to allow of additional work and asked to be relieved which the meeting did with regret and passed a vote of thanks for the very splendid service he had rendered the association during the past season. However the association id to be congratulated on secur ing the services of Charlie Harris the popular and energetic Secretary of the 7tlanltoba Curling association to take Over the secretarial duties.
