Whole with rust i in every Field but the majority of the Fields seem to have been pretty Well filled before the rust struck them. Berries show very slight wrinkling so far. Occasional Large Fields of very late wheat appear badly rusted but there Are not Many of these. Oats show rather a better stand and some that Are being Cut for Green need look As allowed to Ripen would have made Good crops. Yorkton to Barvas 15 Miles East conditions Are about the same As those described to the West with crops a trifle Wetter filled but with rust More rampant. South and West to Saltcoats the country is much broken by Bluffs but i saw Many Fields of Oats longer in Straw but with Little More in the Heads and Many Fields Are very late. Saltcoats to Yorkton Many yields Are very badly rusted but still show ing fairly Well filled Heads. Oats Are generally Short and Light. In All the territory seen today probably 35 per cent of the wheat is in Stock but practically All of it seems to have been Cut on the Green Side probably with the idea of pre venting further rust damage. Very Little Sawfly seen All Day. Considerable Sweet Clover was seen during the Day nearly All had Taesal Cut for first crop and will fair second not being pastured.
