Maclean served Tice that at the next regular meeting 1 of the Council to would move that the treasurer s department to reduced by three employees but he was ruled out of order by the chair. Aid Walter Leslie thought that the ques Tion of staff and salaries should be dealt with separately and moved an amendment to the amendment that the staff of the treasurer s department be kept up to its present strength.
