Ward a prominent member of the International labor movement the Tel Snipes trades and labor Council at its regular meeting last night in the labor Temple devoted the session entirely to the passing of a Resolution of sympathy to the family and suspended nil business till the next regular meeting. A Resolution read by the Secretary and adopted by the coun cil. As follows the Winnipeg trades and labor Council views with extreme sorrow the passing of brother Ward one of the most consistent advocates of International trades Union ism. His scope of activities covered a period extending As far Back As 1906, in connection with the Winnipeg trades and labor Council. He was honoured with the presidency in the year 1910. One of the most ardent advocates of social Lee Slation. The father of the workmen s compensation legislation and one of the leaders of the most constructive thought within Tho inter National labor movement.
