Don t use Ordinary scouring powder to remove such stains it often leaves unsightly scratches on the utensils. Here again Princess soap flakes Are wonderfully effective and they won t i spoil the appearance of pots and kettles. I if your Kettle or the Bottom of your double boiler becomes coated with Lime on the inside a handful of pebbles or marbles boiled in them will remedy this. Never attempt to dry it quickly by applying direct heat to tense heat makes rubber soft and it will stick together in places and tear when you try to smooth it out. If you Are in a hurry to Wear it you can hasten the drying with Talcum powder. To remove stains caused by Black or Tan shoe polish sponge or Wash thoroughly Rhile still fresh with Princess soap flakes suds. It is always advisable not to delay the treatment of such stains because these polishes often contain ingredients that will injure the fab Ric. White shot dressing May be removed easily by sponging with Clear water and when perfectly dry brushing or rubbing with the same material in the direction of the weave.
