We have been very Active in inculcating in the minds of people in the old country the desirability of buying within Tho Empire. It is a process of education. If half a dozen people Asl their grocer or retailer for Empire goods you find that merchant beginning to think and to ask his wholesaler for Empire goods. By progression you find the wholesaler trying to meet the de Mand and in this Way you ensure a building up of an Emp ire Trade which must redound to the Good of the Empire As a whole. More and More the people in great Britain Are coming to see the tremendous possibilities of Empire Trade and they Are concentrating upon its misgiving As to Egypt col. Amery looked with some mis giving on the policy of the present government with respect to Egypt. While he did not wish to criticise the government he nevertheless Felt that in granting what amounted to absolute Independence to Egypt a great Deal of the Good work already done was being undone.
