Now to make the pie 2 ibs. Cooked veal 2 hard cooked eggs 1 Small onion minced cup mushrooms 4 Tablespoons butter 4 Tablespoons flour 1 cup milk 1 cup Stock method Peel and chop the onion. Fry it until it is tender in the melted butter. Then add the flour and blend this in Well. Add the milk and the cup of liquid in which the veal was cooked gradually cooking and stirring until the. Sauce is thick and smooth. Add the cooked veal the sliced hard cooked eggs and the Mush rooms. Mix lightly and turn into Well buttered baking dish. Cover the top with tiny baking powder biscuits and bake in a hot 425 Deg. F. Oven until they Are a delicate drown. And you know my recipe for baking powder biscuits so Well. That i Haven t the courage to repeat it again. A variation sometimes i bake the biscuit dough in a ring Mould and turn the veal mixture into the Centre of Titis and again sometimes i just bake them then split and pour the veal Over them. Be sure to Sprinkle with paprika for it s rather Pale unless you do. It s a Little Early for baked Squash the Hubbard ones i mean. But we fashionable front. Oven until the Squash very tender about an hour. Now scrape All the flesh Awa from the Shell and Mash this u with the milk that is in the Squash season with More Salt and Pepper if necessary and serve right in the Shell. The milk almost Cooks Awa but it does keep it from drying of and makes the Squash creamy an soft. It s delicious. While tomatoes and Cucumber Are so reasonable and so plentiful you la enjoy this salad for a change. And if there is any left it s just a Good the put Day. Country salad 3 tomatoes 2 medium onions 1 Large Cucumber cup vinegar 1 cup water cup sugar Salt Pepper method take the cores out o the tomatoes and slice without Seeling. Peel the onions and slip hem very thin. Peel and slip the cucumbers thin also. Place All these into a bowl an pour Over them the vinegar water and sugar. Stir this until the Suga s dissolved and season with Sal let a few hours before serving. There Are still blueberries by they Are Gong fast so if. You wan another pie or pudding before the you Blaeberry Delight 3 cups blueberries 2 cups cornflakes 6 Tablespoons sugar 3 Tablespoons melted butter Teaspoon cinnamon.
