O the european situation on Canadia mining markets was reflected in the Dominion Bureau of statistics investors Price Index for 24 Stock which dropped to 143.9 from 15 the previous week. Last year it a 126.3. The Index for 221 Gold stocks a 113.3 against 123.3 and 101.1, for three base metals 271 again 285.6 and 229.6. Economic Index shows improvement Ottawa sept. 19. Up three of the six factors indicating trend of economic conditions in Canada recorded a gain in the week ended sept. 10 and the Dominion Bureau of statistic Index Rose to 110.4 from 109.4 the previous week. The Rise in car loadings was nearly three per cent while a gain of More than six per cent was shown in the adjusted Index of Bank clearings. A temporary Advance was recorded in common Stock prices.
