The Victor company issues one of its most satisfying lists this sep tember Dvorak Prokofieff and Debussy being represented in album sets and with a varied selection of vocal and instrumental numbers the single disc list. The czech symphony orchestra with Pablo Casals As soloist offers Prokofieff work but it is a very the Dvorak concerto in b. Minor engaging one. The orchestra is the Register. The result is not always Beautiful but Casals handles his assignment with such Superb skill that this becomes just a minor flaw. Prokofieff is represented by a suite from lieutenant Kije. The music was written for the soviet film of that name and is filled with a satirical humor. It is not a major for cello and orchestra. Here is a full bodied tuneful work played with an authority and verve that is wholly delightful.
