Miss Alison Warner who graduated this Spring from the University of Manitoba and lately returned from a tour of eng land. Scotland Germany France and Czechoslovakia noticed a striking contrast Between the celebrations in Prague and those in Munich. Our party of undergraduates travelling under the overseas educational league to czech Capi 10 primarily to see the tenth Sokol Congress in Progress miss Warner explained. For five weeks there had been a series of mass drills an inter National contest and other exhibitions and during the first week in july when the Canadian undergrads arrived the grand finale was on. The Sokol is a nationalistic movement and every six years since 1882 a Congress has been held. This year people took part. Everyone dressed in native cos Tumes and in the evenings there was singing and dancing in the miss Warner said.
