Madeline Day some people get along cheer fully on a breakfast of a slice of Toast and a cup of Tea. But most of us need something heartier than that particularly on these Chilly mornings or we re As Cross As bears before it s time for lunch. There never is much time to do a lot of cooking in the morning so food that can be partially pre pared the evening before is welcomed by the housewife at least and Fried Cornmeal Mush was just made to order for that kind of a situation. If it did t taste any better than it sounds i d never in the world suggest it but there s no compari son Between the name and the finished product. Served crispy Brown hot from the griddle with Maple syrup it s my idea of a real breakfast and i believe Mankind would be benefited by some Public spirited citizen who would think up a name that Wol ild indicate the appetizing a peal of this dish. By Elizabeth Thompson some girls Are interested in boys at an Early age others Are in different to them until Well into the teens. They begin want ing boy friends All of a sudden when they realize that other girls have dates and they have none but Don to always understand that the chief cause is their own Lack of in Terest. Here is a typical Case dear mrs. Thompson we Are two girls in our last year at High school one blonde and one Brunette. We feel that we Are not progressing As Well As we would like to. All our girl companions seem to be going off with boy friends and As yet neither of lit has had that experience. We re not hard to look at and have plenty of school pals. As this is our last year at school we wish to make the Best of it. Although we would like to have dates we Are rather Back Ward in coming could you give us any suggestions Oil is lacking and How to overcome i d. And t. F you Are attractive looking and have opportunities to meet boys yet have no dates chances Are you Don t really care about any o the boys you know As individuals you Don t want their companion hip for its own Sake but because j you think you arc missing some thing other girls have. All boy look More or less alike to they Are creatures in trousers Anc any of them would do As boys Foel your indifference and suck girls who give the impression of being sincerely interested Thorn. To overcome this condition pick out several boys you know an study them. Do it quite system would even be a idea to make out cards and Fil them. Write Down you Al ready know about the record at school and in sports thei family background their hobbies friends and accomplishments. Ther try to find out More about thei activities and see if you can work up a genuine admiration of them. Concentrate on their goo Points so that you could be convincing if you said of i thin it s wonderful to be so o so Strong or so kind to animals. Then every Chance you get try to make boys feel your interest and if chances Don t come your a try to make them. It is alway possible to go up to a boy and a you re just the person i two dollars Cash will be paid to the author o f c a c h eur for publication.
