Black Hawks blasted new York rangers Hopes of extend ing their unbeaten Streak of 19 National hockey league games by upsetting the Patrick men 2-1, tonight in a rough game before fans. Paul Goodman was a standout in the Chicago nets. The Hawks scored first in the opening period and then ran their advantage to 2-0 Midway of the third period. The rangers got their Only goal with less than five minutes to play. The hero of the Hawks surprising Triumph was Goodman who blocked in spectacular style often smothering the rangers Bullet shots with his body on the ice. The defeat knocked the rangers out of undisputed Possession of place in the league. As the game ended the crowd stood and gave a tremendous ovation to Goodman. The Hawks went into a one goal Lead when George Allen rammed the disc past Dave Kerr after taking passes from Joe Cooper and Bill Carse.
