Mexico ratified the new North american regional agree ment regarding broadcasting wave lengths on dec. 29, thus falling in line with Canada the United states Cuba Haiti and the dominican Republic. Mexico s action brings the agree ment officially into Force. Nevertheless. Csc officials estimate six months at least will be required before it can be Given full effect. The plan involves new wave lengths for nearly All stations on this continent. In the United states the Federal communications com Mission has already tentatively As signed new frequencies to More than 650 stations to become effective before dec. 28. 1940.
