A Small Export business Esti mated around Bushel and Light offerings contributed to a narrow wheat Market on Friday with final quotations is to 5sc lower and the May at .893sb. Export sales were believed worked to the continent and Sweden was reported in Quiring for Canadian wheat. Weakness at Chicago was a de pressing influence. The local Trade got Little assistance from outside markets with Chicago developing weakness in the late Trade while Buenos Aires was in a rut with prices in the Argentine Market unchanged at the opening and unchanged to cent higher at noon. No change of importance occurred in the United states Winter wheat situation although pessimistic private and state reports continued to be received. Little precipitation was disclosed overnight but occasional Light and rain was in Prospect in some sections including Nebraska and Kansas. This had a slightly bearish influence it Chicago while the russian i july finnish negotiations contributed to sept. The hesitant attitude in evidence in the Trade. Minor Southern buying came out in the october presumably against sales of Chicago september while routine purchases were credited to Mills. Trading however was Dull most of the ses Sion with elevator hedging and other offerings of a Light nature appearing on upturns. Overseas information indicated that Winter crops in eur Ope had been damaged by us usual severity of the Winter and that it was reasonable to expect that yields would be generally lower. There was Little feature to Argen Tine developments wheat clearances Lor the week were finally placed at bushels and it was noted that shipments to the United King Dom and the continent were continuing in fair volume in View of the High freight rates prevailing. The United kingdom was credited with importing bushels of Argentine wheat while Continental countries took bushels. Ocean rates also continued High on Neutral shipping out of United states pores the continent with 55 cents per Bushel being quoted for shipping wheat from Philadel phia to Antwerp. A Small Quantity of 2 Northern was bought by shippers in the Cash wheat Market for the opening of navigation. Exporters and shippers still had their bids in the Market for All the top grades of wheat for the opening of navigation but were not forcing their bids. In the Gar net grades however bids tends to be a Little better. Shippers bought some Oats in the Cash coarse Grain Market some of this being for the opening of Navi gation and the Deal was reported As including extra 3 . Ship pers and exporters were in the for 2 . Six Row Barley with Only Odd cars coming out. Feed houses were said to be inquiring for the lower Grade Barley. The Early Trade in the coarse Grain pit witnessed fairly Large hedging sales in both Oats and bar Ley with offers easily absorbed. Shippers exporters Mills feed houses and commission houses were credited with buying Oats imparting a steady tone to the mar Ket. Some of the buying by ship pers and exporters was believed connected with Export business pending presumably to the United kingdom As Well As with purchases in the Cash coarse Grain Market for the opening of navigation. Barley also saw buying by shippers exporters and commission houses As Well As the usual local Trade. About bushels Barley was re ported taken for Export while Mal sters also took fair quantities. Rye tended to the easy Side for most of the session and reports that Scandinavia was inquiring for Canadian Rye apparently had Little effect on the Market.
