Judaean conference for West cancelled announcement was made by the Winnipeg Young Judaean Organiza Tion Friday that the 13th annual Western Young Judaean conference which was to have been held in Edmonton Over the Dominion Day week end has been cancelled owing to the serious world conditions. Instead of the conference will be a special meeting of the entire Western administrative coun cil at which there will be discussed All matters which otherwise would have been brought up at the convention. Joseph Carleton Dies at Kenora Kenora. Ont., june 15. Special Joseph Carleton Pioneer mining Man of Kenora. Died thursday morning at St. Joseph s Hospital in his 75th year. Born in Quebec. March 4. 1866, he came to the Ken Ora District some 42 years ago and has lived Here Ever since.
