British Supply Board has assumed the capital Cost of Plant construction on behalf of some 35 Canadian companies the department of munitions and Supply announced today. By far the largest proportion of these plants Are already producing munitions explosives and War material. But several Are still under construction and two Are to be built shortly. For these capital expenditures involving the construction both of new plants and extensions to exist ing manufacturing facilities the Board has now made commitments Well in excess of these capital expenditures will it is estimated produce War materials to a value in excess of annually. Three of the major plants on which construction work is pro Gressing Are the two explosives plants being erected at Cost of More than and a new Shell filling Plant costing in addition work is to begin shortly on a third explosives Plant costing Many millions and also on a very Large Extension to one of the Canadian chemical manufacturing properties. This now Plant will provide some of the raw materials required programme. The sums being in the explosives expended by the British Supply Board through the department of munitions and Supply Are chiefly for the Purchase of munitions and explosives Al Calm teen burning cigarette papers double 3 though some purchases have been made for admiralty and air Force the announcement con eluded.
