Winnipeg wheat futures continued at minimum Levels on saturday with a Small Trade passing at the Peg prices. With United states markets showing n weak trend on War develop ments and increasing new crop deliveries the local Market had Little incentive to climb out of the rut. Finn prices were in at the minimum with the july at .71-Sa. Export Busi Ness in Canadian wheat appeared negligible. Favourable harvesting weather in the United states South West and i better Lone to crop advices con tribute i to the easier trend of the Southern markets but hedging Anc Lack of buying Power appeared t be the major Factor in the decline the Trade jacked any Lead from Buenos Aires which was on holi Day. Although the closing gains of 4 to 37.tc scored late Friday attracted considerable attention reflecting heavy movement of Argentine wheat and the unfavourable seeding conditions in the Argentine. Deal Ings locally were confined to a few trades the october and Decem Ber. Mostly of a spreading character. There were suggestions that a Large Trade had passed in no. 1 Northern in the Cash wheat Market saturday morning with exporters said to be the buyers. Some estimates of this business ran in excess of one million bushels. Reports also indicated a Large Busi Ness in no. 1 Northern of two million bushels had been worked to Export interests on Friday after noon. In saturday morning s Cash wheat Market Good demand continued for practically All grades except the 1 durum and 1 Garnet. Trade How Ever was mostly on an Odd car basis.
