If you could visit our eight engaged in vital War would know Why our production now exceeds All previous records. You would see an army of thousands of War workers in action turning out vast quantities of material for the army Navy and air Force. You would be cheered by the fact that most of this material is destined for the bad fronts round the world. You would witness the production of scores of different products not normally manufactured by Dominion rubber. Steel treads for tank track involving the machining and assembling of thousands of tons of steel parts the Bogie wheels on which tank tracks ran. Aniline Oil vital in explosives and chemicals essential in the processing of natural and synthetic rubber. Bullet sealing gasoline tanks for combat made so that no fuel escapes when the tank is pierced by enemy fire. Articles requited for defense in chemical warfare such As anti Gas clothing and Gas masks. Inflatable life rafts and life jackets to save the lives of Gallant airmen who make forced landings at sea. Ammunition Felt Gas mask filter pads and other Felt pro ducts required for our fighting forces. Special types of footwear for the armed forces also water proof clothing made with synthetic substitutes for rubber. Reclaimed rubber millions of pounds Are being produced for essential needs.
