You will need 2 or 3 bananas to obtain the required amount of pulp and be sure to use bananas that Are partially ripened that is with an All yellow skin. Peel and Mash the bananas Well then Meas ure. Court Bine these with the sour milk and the soda. Add the sifted dry ingredients to the creamed mixture alternately with the banana mixture. Then mix in the Vanilla and the chopped nuts. Beat the egg Whites until but not dry and fold these into the cake Batter. Pour into greased layer cake pans and bake in a moderate oven 350 Deg. Of for about 30 minutes or until done. Turn out on cake Racks to Cool and ice with your favorite Choco late icing. The next is a recipe for drop cookies that Are made with ban Anas. There flavor Here is Delici Ous too. Banana nut cookies cups sifted cake or pastry flour 2 Teaspoons baking powder 34 Teaspoon soda Teaspoon Salt cup shortening 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 Teaspoon Vanilla 1 cup mashed bananas sugar and cinnamon method sift the cake or pastry Lour then measure and sift again with the baking powder soda and Salt.
