Aug. 24 special six year old Leo Belhumeur. Said he was t very scared when got lost Fri Day but he was scared when he saw some of the 250 people Hunting for him. So he played hide and seek for More than two Days until found hiding inside a threshing machine. Friday afternoon Leo was re ported lost from his Home seven Miles South East of Wel by sask., near the Manitoba Boundary. He was found three Miles from his. Home at 10.30 . Monday by an Uncle. Members at the police dogs from Yorkton and Rogina. And an . Plane from Regina took part in the search. On a number of occasions searchers passed within a few Yards of where the boy was hiding police said. Followed family Leo told the police his Mother and some of his nine Brothers and Sisters would not let him go picking blueberries with them so he followed them until he got lost. He wandered around until he came to a River. He said he recognized a farm Home nearby and knew he was Only a few Miles from Home. Starting Back he. Saw people searching the Woods and suspected they we re looking for him so he hid. And he kept up the for 66 hours. When found Leo said he was t hungry just scared. He said he ate lots of berries.
