Relatives fear drowning Roblin Man., nov. 22 Hundred men tuesday were searching the heavily wooded Southern Edge of the Duck Mountain Forest Reserve for Ernie Cockerill 45, missing since last Friday. An experienced woodsman Cockerill left his Home at Merrydale 20 Miles Northeast of Roblin for a tramp through the Woods. When he failed to return that night a search was instituted saturday by his family. Sunday neighbors were called to help but no Trace of the missing Man could be found. Monday a Call was made to Ron Lin Togo Makaroff and grand View for volunteers to assist in the search with the result some 200 were recruited. The search has been made More difficult by the fact that rain and Snow have washed away any tracks the missing Man May have made. Born at Merrydale Cockerill is reported to be thoroughly versed in woodcraft and to have an inti mate knowledge of the District.
