Crop loss alone apart from lost seed feed livestock and personal effects May run to last evacuation train from South stranded by flood near Winnipeg this map shows the vast part of the red River Valley that is covered by floodwaters Between the International Boundary and Winnipeg. The huge stretches for 65 Miles in length and in some places it is 25 Miles wide. Even with Best of conditions much of this area will produce Only forage crops this year.
