George c. Marshall president of the american National Cross expressing deepest concern and sympathy of the people of the United offered the Quarter million Dollar gift s accepted the Oiler was accepted by John a. Macaulay Central Council Canadian red Cross who gave Assurance that this magnificent gift will be a great stimulus to the people of Manitoba and Canada in this time of the donation from red Cross arrived As red Cross officials Here were taking Stock of the tremendous Job of emergency Relief to flood victims still facing them. During the past few weeks the bed Cron has provided emergency shelter food clothing and medical care to Almott Vernoni and hat directly evacuated flood victims. Until the return to Normal the tremendous Job of emergency Relief will have to be continued. Gen.
