Nursing Mother needs Good foods and plenty of fluids of have heard mothers express y the belief that to nurse their babies was naturally after a birth there May be several weeks in which the Mother does not feel quite up to Par but milk Isra natural secretion natural to this period and using it up does not weaken the Mother. It is necessary of course in or Der to have a Good Supply of milk that a Mother treat herself to Good food and plenty of fluids. Some mothers tend to get fat when they eat and drink generously some stay thin while their babies grow fat. Can keep figure but it has been determined that if a Mother eats a generous diet minus especially fat making foods and drinks an ample Supply of milk water soft drinks and other Bever Ages that she can keep her own figure and still nourish her baby satisfactorily. If she wants to get fat then she must eat More of the starches fats and sweets in order to accomplish this. But whether she chooses an am ple but non fattening diet or a fattening one she must drink a Glass of milk with each meal and a Glass of water before each nursing period and something before she goes to bed at night. If she depends upon the above for her fluids she can then if she wishes supplement with Tea or Coffee or any of her favorite soft drinks Cereal drowned in milk that something before she goes to bed might Well be the old time Aid to a Good night time Supply a bowl of Cereal drowned in milk there is no doubt that she will fee better sleep better and have More milk it she eats and drinks before she goes to bed. There Are some mothers who can provide quantities of milk seemingly without Effort. But for Mosi mothers it is a struggle to eat ant drink plenty of food with the sole thought in mind of keeping their own bodies Well nourished and sup plying their babies needs. If a Mother is serious in her determination to nurse her baby she will make this Effort and it should be Success Ful. She will have an enormous we have a very Nice time either at Home with my parents or with friends. I. Would like to know if i does t come Over or phone., it proper to phone him i Liki talking to him very much As i have a lot in common please Givi me an answer. Puzzled since the boy has asked you to phone him Don t hesitate to Call him to ask him Over or give him a message or pass on some news. But Don t phone just to Chat. You Aren t losing anything by making some advances to Steep the Friendship flourishing but Don give him or his family a Chance to say there s that girl again when the phone rings. Keep him wishing you would Call oftener instead of less often. Non support dear mrs. Thompson having left my husband be cause of no support. I have movie from Alberta to Ontario to stay with my parents. Could i apply for help or support for three children and myself and if so where could i apply there would be no use asking my husband for support As he has t got anything. Mrs. . your husband is capable of working he should make it his business to have something. You should have Laid a charge against him before you left Alberta. You might be Able to do it Ontario and have the Case i feared Back but there will difficulties. I. Doubt whether you will be Able to get any help except family allowance for a year. You Are not entitled to Relief being from out Side the District and Ontario does not allowance to deserted wives until they have been alone a year even then the fact that you left your husband would be a drawback.
