In our residence As As in my private office unknown person or persons ring us up several times during the Day and almost when we an the Call nobody replies. I re ported this to the police depart Mem told they can t do anything about it. went in to the proper of the Manitoba Tele phone and they informed us that the department of trac ing is not functioning anymore. All they could do is to give us an unlisted number. In private residence this Protection would prove sufficient Stop bulb snatching however in a business office this would be because it would Hurt the business if the number would be unlisted in the phone Book. I inquired among my friends if they had similar experience and their reply was in the affirmative. If a woman takes the Call in the office or at Home the reply is a disgusting flow of abusive language purposeless and revolt ing which can b e ended Only by replacing the receiver May i ask if there is a Way to remedy this impossible nuisance surely a person who has been a customer of the Telephone com Pany and a taxpayer of our City Cor More 20 years is entitled to some kind of projection against such unpleasant and bothersome practise.
