The cattle Market closed for the week with All classes Selling fully i steady to the week s Advance of 50 cents to is. Choice Quality Grain fed steers and heifers continued to meet a Good demand. Fed Yearl ing Trade was also Active and Strong. Cows and bulls sold fully steady the calf Market was unchanged while Grade a hogs were steady. There was no Lamb Ket established. Slaughter cattle futures brisk with prices up Trade was brisk and Price trends higher on the Winnipeg Grain Exchange Friday. There was fair Export buying of both Barley and flax. While there was no confirmation of any overseas sales of coarse grains inquiries for flax have been received from the United kingdom Japan and the continent. Exports higher Export loadings of Canadian wheat for the week totalled Ioco bushels compared to a bushels for the previous week. Oats was a fair Trade featured by Domestic shipper buying and rather heavy hedging. Both exporters and Domestic shippers were in the Market for Barley. Offerings were on the Light Side and came mostly from com Mission houses. Rye prices advanced in Early Trade the trend following that at Chicago. There was a Little United states and commission House buy ing of local offerings. Trade in flax was Good with buying for Export and for United states accounts. The Selling was mostly by commission houses. At the close Oats were up to Barley up to Rye up to u 4 flax up 9-Li to 8. Chicago Trade slow grains were steady at Chicago with Trade at it s slowest Pace in some time. The . Government reported sales of bushels of Oats at the Gulf. Export loadings of _ Canadian wheat for the week comprised 1. J bushels for Germany 1000 for Japan. For the United kingdom for Czechoslovakia for East Germany for Hong Kong for Russia.
