Conservatives have won control but Only minority the University of Manitoba s annual mock parliament. Since 1947, the government has been controlled by the lib eral party. But in last year s parliament the liberals formed Only a minority government and in thursday s elections conservative Candi dates with votes took 28 of the so seats in the House. The liberals with 694 votes took 18 seats the Kcf. With 330 votes 10 seats the labor progressive party two seats with 90 votes and the social credit party two seats with 87 votes. The conservatives held 21 seats in last year s mock parliament. They have thus gained Constable Alert seven this year. The Kcf last year held 12 seats two More than it gained this year and the labor progressives two the same number they hold this year. About 51 per cent of the University s student population voted in the election.
