But it is impossible to ignore the fact that do have symptoms which seem related to teething. You can t live with any child and not discover this. The first Teeth May come in with out fanfare. Probably because the Mother is not aware that the baby s fussiness or Lack of Appe Tite for a Day or two has this basis. But later she will become More accustomed to How the baby acts and she will note that for a period of two or three Days before Teeth Are Cut the baby is of usually irritable sleeps less Well tends to Chew on his fingers or other objects and May have some slight looseness of the bowels. Teeth Are Cut in cycles. At first there Are just two those lower Central Teeth. But shortly there after there will be four More up per Centre Teeth. By the time the baby is one year old 01 there about these six Teeth will be his proud Possession. Between then and a year and one half six More Teeth will come in. Probably All about the same later the stomach and Eye Teeth and four double Teeth make up the first set of milk Teeth 20 m an. Undoubtedly the stomach and Eye Teeth and the molars cause More difficulty than the other Teeth. Maybe because the baby himself is older and better Able to translate his feelings into words and actions. We Are taking it for granted that this is a Well baby and a Well Jed one. Poor nourishment inf Iuen Ces the development of Teeth As Well As All other body member and will increase any symptom the child might suffer. The child who has convulsions at teething time is merely advertising his under nourishment and Lack of minerals and vitamins not just that he is teething. So we should expect Only minor discomfort from the Well fed child at which time we Are respectful of fas Lack of appetite and do not Force food upon him. We give him hard things upon which to Chew so that he can allay the irritation of the red sore Gums. While he May Chew on hard pieces of bread or Toast or Cracker or a rubber teething ring he will appreciate soft foods at Mealtimes for the moment. It should be Al Over in a few Days in fact As soon As the gum parts and those shiny White Teeth appear. See a rehearsal of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet thurs.
