They said that the eggs were being used because they had a very dark coloured Yolk. This was preferred by the italians and germans. The Canadian Light coloured Yolk was found unsuitable and accordingly the private Canadian firm resorted to importing polish eggs to fill its con tracts satisfactorily. At the same time the Federal authorities recalled that Canada exported agricultural products to Poland last year in excess of Jerry Long of London ont., chairman of the Middlesex egg producers association said prices of Grade a extra Large Ontario eggs dropped 10 cents a dozen during the past six weeks.
