Winnipeg Free Press (Newspaper) - August 5, 1963, Winnipeg, Manitoba Winnipeg free press monday August 5, 1963 soviets publish chinese attack Moscow soviet press sunday published the text of communist China s latest at tack on the Kremlin in their split Over the nuclear test ban treaty in order to show How Low the chinese leaders have alongside it Moscow newspapers filled their front pages with the harsh soviet reply to the july 31 chinese government denouncing soviet participation in the East West partial nuclear test ban. The soviet rejoinder assailed the chinese for refusing to approve the treaty to be signed today by the United states Britain and the soviet Union.
