Africa France Britain abstain in Security Council United nations a the United nations Security Council has voted a world wide arms embargo against South Africa but turned Down an asian african demand for a Boycott of South african goods. The measures adopted we mesday Are aimed at South Africa s policy of apartheid racial separation which has Bee denounced by african Leader As a threat to peace. The economic Boycott a killed by a separate vote before the watered Down Resolution was approved 9 to 0 with Bri Ain and France abstaining.
