Sales to communist China and West Germany were Down and those to Cuba continued to dwindle. The Dominion Bureau of statistics issuing Export figures by commodity and country of destination thursday gave a revised half yearly total of Ca Nadian Domestic exports of compared with the for january june in 1962. Final figures have not yet been released for imports but a preliminary estimate earlier indicated the total for the first half of 1963 at the Bureau of statistics said that the average level of Export prices during the period was about 1.2 per cent above that of the same period in 1962, while physical volume in creased by 5.4 per cent. This indicated that the Rise in value of Canadian exports was largely due to the increased Quantity of goods exported. .
