Cows met an improved demand with some sales 50 cents higher. There were no Early sales of bulls. Good Quality replacement cattle were steady but other grades were hard to move. Stock calves met a narrower demand with prices generally lower. Veal calves sold steady. Grade a hogs lost monday s gain of 50 cents. The Lamb Market was steady. Kirby chairman of the Allegheny corp., of a 000 fraud charge. The charge grew out of a proxy fight in 1960 for control of Allegheny a holding com Pany whose assets include 15 per cent of the Stock of the new York Central Railroad. The proxy fight was won in 1961 by the Murchison Brothers of Dallas two corporate foes of Kirby who later brought the fraud charge. The Murchison subsequently sold their Stock in Allegheny and Kirby today is the company s controlling share Holder. In dismissing the suit the court of appeals reaffirmed the decision of a lower court. The rehearing of the Case Cen tred on a charge that Kirby and his partner the late Robert r.
