Copyright 1965, setter Romes and gardens hints from Heloise from Heloise s Kitchen just As a precaution Why not use red Hail polish to paint the top of the aspirin rub Bing alcohol bleach bottles solvents and All that other stuff you put in your cabinets i think this is a great idea at least you would know when you picked it up that it required special caution and you probably could teach Junior and sister never open anything that had a red top because it Means hot and just a thought to pass along. You will not be wasting your time because when you run out of one ingredient you can use the same top to put on the new bottle. And for Small tots who can t Tell the hot water faucet from the cold one put some red polish on the hot faucet until he learns. Later it can be removed with polish remover and no harm to the faucet. This is an easy Way to teach wee tots that red Means caution the red Light when one crosses a Street Etc. Heloise dear Heloise i like pasteurized processes cheese tiie kind that comes in a one Pound rectangular Box ready to slice after you Peel off the plastic coating. It used to annoy me to have to throw away the exposed end slice after the air got to it and dried it out. Just by Accident one Day i picked up one of the Sandwich size plastic bags and slipped it loosely Over Hie open end of the cheese. One could snap a rubber band around it if they Don t use it often Tjie next time i used the cheese it was fresh and soft.
