For 12 years he lived with the polos family 447 Perth Avenue West Kildonan Friday Skippy was strangled to death with a rope by an employee of the h u m a be society in Winnipeg. Wednesday miss Betty Gardner of the humane society said in a Telephone interview that the Man who strangled the dog had been fired. This was a very Good Man but unfortunately he had an alcoholic Walker polos said tuesday in an interview at his Home on Friday i noticed Skippy was bleeding from the rectum and i tried to phone a veterinarian. None was open and the one i contacted at Home suggested 1 bring him in saturday morning to be put to i told the doctor Skippy would bleed to death before morning so he suggested we take him to the humane society to be put to sleep. Visibly drunk i drove into the Back of. The society lot on Logan Avenue and found a Man who was visibly drunk sitting on the front Steps. He told me to put Skippy into a Small Concrete building that measured 10 feet by 10 feet and that he would give him a Needle and that the Deg would feel no pain. He said he had to get a Needle and that i should come into the office to pay i paid my s3 and he gave me a receipt. At the Bottom of the desc i noticed a Case of Beer. We went Back outside and he went into the building and i joined my wife in the car a minute the dog started to squeal and howl. So i got out of the car and went Over but just then the Man came out of the building and i figured it was All Over now. Then right behind him Skippy walked out. He said that the Needle had t Talicen and that he would have to get another one. I held the dog and patted him while he got the Needle. Screaming he went Back into the building with the ;
