Mother dear Mother Many people have recommended using Wax. However painters write in that Wax cannot be painted Over because the paint won t stick until the Wax has been removed with a solvent. The easiest answer i have is to take some plastic wrap Cut it to fit the window Sill and spread it on with your hands. Then wring out a warm sponge that has been dipped in hot water and smooth away. The plastic will keep water and Rusty cans from ruining the paint on your Sill and will not show. I also find this wonderful under potted plants especially if the pots Are the me Tal Type that often rust. Heloise dear Heloise when making egg salad i use my pastry blender for chopping those hard boiled eggs. The same blender also slices eggs nicely for salad toppings in Case one does t have an egg Slicer. Mrs. A. Avramaut dear. Heloise i use pipe cleaners to make hangers for my Little girl s tiny doll clothes. They Are so easy to shape and the doll clothes do not slip off at All. Margie Ann dear Heloise when your sponge mop Wax applicator gets old and Tough try tying a soft cloth around the sponge secure it to the handle with rubber bands and Wax away i think mine works even better than the sponge did when it was new. Maeve Gal a piece of an old Nylon stocking works wonderfully too. Just Cut a tube from the Centre Heloise dear Heloise i save aluminium pans that Sweet Rolls come in and find them great when broiling our steaks and chops. They can be cleaned easily and if you Don t happen to feel like cleaning them just throw them out. Polly Kennedy 45" widths. Available in assorted patterns and Gay summer colors. Reg. Value 1.98 cd.
