Winnipeg Free Press (Newspaper) - June 24, 1968, Winnipeg, Manitoba 10 Winnipeg free press monday 24, 1968 while travelling from coast to coast during the course of this election Campaign i have been speaking on the regional development of our country. There is no question in my mind that it is essential for the Prosperity of Canada that All regions share in the economic development of the country As a whole. I am particularly anxious that the Prairie Region play its full part and share in full measure the benefits of a United Canada and a prosperous Economy. We must have capable and experienced men on the government Bench representing the West. It is my Hope that the voters of Winnipeg South Centre will elect e. B. Osier As their representative. A humane Man of let he has the imaginative Outlook required to generate the new ideas and new visions necessary in our swiftly changing world. His practical experience in business and in the work of the Community gives him the background which will be so necessary in order that we May put into effect the just society we All Hope to achieve. Yours sincerely Pierre Elliott Trudeau if Pierre Elliott Trudeau is your Choice for prime minister of Canada express your conviction by electing e. B. Osier in Winnipeg South Centre. E. B. Osler ;
