Ashdown executive vice president of Ash owns said the offer is to Purchase All the issued and outstanding common shares of Ash owns without distinction Between class a and class b. It is believed that the Ackland offer will be accepted immediately by members of the Ashdown family which controls approximately-53 percent of the voting Purchase Price will be a share payable in whole by issuing on a share for share basis a new class of six Pei cent cumulative redeemable convertible preference shares o. Govt May step into school crisis Quebec up education minister Jean Guy Cardinal pledged Friday the Quebec government will intervene in the St. Leonard school crisis if the local Board does not take action in the Best interest of the Mont real suburb s school children. Representatives of towns and municipalities in Eastern Mani Toba last week agreed to form East Man an Eastern Manitoba development corporation. Sixty five mayors Reeves and councillors were present at the meeting at wendigo resort near Lac Dubonnet.
