When "stormin1 Norman arrived at the suburban Winnipeg club wednesday to loosen up for the Start of the Manitoba open he had some not so Nice remarks to. Pass on regarding course condition Etc. I Don t know if Moe was personally upset with the course or whether it was his practice round which soared in the Gusty Breeze s that led him to Call Down the truly great championship layout. He said the greens were terrible or at least most of them were and added that he hoped the golfers would receive Relief on some of the fairways. But he did admit it was the toughest course he s ran into in some time. K following thursday s first round of the Carling sponsored classic we took a general consensus among several of tour pros and Here s what their opinions sounded like in the end Jim Hiskey Falls i think it s a great course and it s going to be even better in a few years. I like the greens although i believe some should be re de signed putters were hot Dave Gumlia first round Leader used Only 25 putts and said like the course.
