Cardinals representatives of the North Western baseball league shaded Neepawa and District league champions Neepawa cubs 4-3 in the first game and hammered out a 8-5 win in the evening. In the 10-inning afternoon contest Don Luh Oye of the cards went the distance for the win allowing four hits while rival Barrie Brooking surrendered five hits. Shortstop Glen Hodgson drove Home three Cardinal runs with a double in the second inning to them in front. Ron Lowe scored the game winning run in the tenth.
