The present fund raising drive will move into High gear in september when the Lions will hold a 50-Block Golden similar to Wal Athons which raise Money for charitable causes. Sponsors pay participants so much a mile for the distance walked. The Golden to be held sept. 27, will be open Only to people 50 years old or older. It is expected to raise at least people will Likely participate. Even the residents of Lions Manor have become directly involved in the fund raising Campaign.
