What makes him unusual is that he clumped a degree in civil engineering into the wastebasket in his father s office renouncing All rights 1o the family engineering firm which is Why at his father s urging he got the degree in the first place. Paul does not want to build Bridges. He also walked out on his country rather than serve in Vietnam because he can not find it in himself to fight. Not kill. Just fight. Anybody for any reason. At the same time for going against his father s and his country s wishes he found it necessary to walk out on his family. He crossed the Border and became a hippie Here in Vancouver. For a Long time his Mother wrote to him care of general delivery enclosing a Little spending Money in each letter. After the first one. He sent the letters Back unopened. Finally he Simp jailed six years for break ins two 18-year-old youths were sentenced to three years and six years respectively Friday after being convicted of taking part in several break ins july 21 and 22. Claude Joseph Gomien 115 Inkster Boulevard was sentenced to six years in jail and Terrance Babisky 33 Inkster Boulevard was sentenced to three years in jail by Magis trate Cecil Chapman in Winni Peg magistrate s court. The court was told Bot i the youths had Long records As Juv Enile offenders. Gomien pleaded guilty to breaking entering and theft at 35 Inkster Boulevard attempted breaking and entering at 90 Scotia Street and to breaking and entering at the Rosh Pina synagogue. Babisky pleaded guilty to breaking and entering at 35 Inkster Boulevard. Court was told the two entered a House at 35 Inkster Boulevard which was still open from a previous break in and took two cases of Beer. Gomien and a juvenile then went to 90 Scotia Street and tried to break in. When they were unsuccessful they went to 17 Inkster Boulevard tried to remove the screen from the front but could to then entered through a basement window and stole a Wallet containing s3. They then went to Rosh Pina synagogue where they forced the front door and damaged the Interior. Wrote bad cheques two years Milliard f. G. Tammie 51, of Island Lake Man., was sentenced monday in Winnipeg magistrate s court to two years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of obtaining lodging by fraud and false pretences. He was sentenced by Magis traae Isaac Rice.
